Director
Katy LeDoyen is a Director in the Observatory Group’s Washington DC office. Ms. LeDoyen manages senior client relationships, including the delivery of the firm’s research and consulting services and is active in business development globally. Prior to this, Ms. LeDoyen was a Managing Director of the G7 Group in Washington, DC.
Ms. LeDoyen’s previous experience as Senior Director in Freddie Mac’s Industry Relations & Housing Outreach division, Investment Officer and Member of the Investment Committee at Strategic Investment Group and as both a Proprietary Trader and Washington Representative for Cargill, provide Ms. LeDoyen with a keen understanding of capital markets, economics, public policy, politics and business.
Ms. LeDoyen is the founding Chair of 100 Women in Finance Washington, DC Education Committee and founding member of the 100 Women in Finance Advisory Council. She is also a member of Women in Housing and Finance and the National Economists Club.
Ms. LeDoyen received an MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business and graduated cum laude from Boston University with a BA in Economics and a minor in political science.
